Betel Church, Madrid, Spain
Betel of Britain is a group of caring, not-for-profit Christian communities in the heart of the UK dedicated to restoring homeless and long-term unemployed people to healthy, independent lifestyles. We train men and women in a wide range of life and employment skills, enabling them to rebuild a strong work ethic. All of our residences are drug- and alcohol-free and totally free of charge (see ‘Admission Procedures’ for more details). We offer the opportunity of restoration to all persons who seek our help.
Manna Farm, Nottingham
Betel opened its first British base outside Birmingham in 1996 at Windmill House, owned by the Bournville Village Trust. Additional residences followed, and we now operate centres in Nottingham, Derby, Watford, Manchester & Dublin, including two houses for female residents, providing help & hope for over 200 people in the UK alone.
Vision for UK Expansion
Homelessness, long-term unemployment and substance abuse continue to escalate in the UK. In keeping with our pattern of growth in Spain and other nations, Betel is committed to expanding into every major city in the UK and Ireland as properties and funding become available.
“ART welcomes its partnership with Betel. We are delighted to extend the capacity of this ministry in Britain, which brings new hope to those most in need by helping them to help themselves”
—Sir Adrian Cadbury, Chairman, Aston Reinvestment Trust
